WATCH: Žižek on fantasy and desire in Tarkovsky's "Stalker" (1979)

...more film analysis from the eminent (and fuzzy, furry, coked-up) philosopher and culture critic from Slovenia. In this clip he looks at Tarkovsky's Stalker. Being a Lacanian, fantasy is a necessary illusion and this is how he explains the impossible situation of travelers to 'the zone.'

hi bonefarm, the z's are pronounced like the g in beige... i will upload another film next week, i have an interesting clip on bergman's 'persona'.
