Paul McCarthy works are unforgettable.
He said about his "action art":‘You may understand my actions as vented culture. You may understand my action as vented fear’.
The whole generation of contemporary artists was influenced by works! Love it!

the one i remember best was at tate modern in like 2004. it was a massive inflatable pinochio like doll on the front lawn, thames side, with a path underneath where you could buy chocolate bars that he was shitting out.

He reminds me somewhat of Helge Schneider, my favourite German comedian (though the word "comedian" is definitely an understatement for this caliber).
